Motorcycle Throttle Valve Introduction

A mechanical throttle body mainly consists of the throttle body itself, an idle speed stepper motor, and a throttle position sensor. At idle, the throttle plate is in its initial position, primarily supplying air through a pre-adjusted throttle opening and a bypass orifice to meet the requirements of idle conditions. When the driver presses the accelerator pedal, the connected steel cable drives the rotating frame to rotate, opening the throttle to a certain degree. The position sensor connected to the throttle shaft transmits this opening signal to the ECU control unit. The ECU then controls the fuel injection quantity based on this signal (along with other signals) to ensure complete fuel combustion, thereby achieving fuel saving and reducing exhaust emissions.
