Throttle adaptation required after installation. Disconnect battery 5–10 min → install with new gasket (sold separately, VAG p/n 037129717B) → reconnect battery → use VCDS/VAG-COM Basic Settings Group 098 for throttle body adaptation → start engine, idle 5 min → off 30 sec → restart and drive normally. Torque bolts to 8–10 Nm.
