Disconnect battery 5–10 min → install with new gasket (sold separately) → reconnect battery → use VCDS/VAG-COM Basic Settings Group 060 or 098 for throttle body adaptation → start engine, idle 5 min → off 30 sec → restart and drive normally. Professional diagnostic equipment strongly recommended for V8/V10 engines. Torque bolts to 8–10 Nm.
